4.0 out of 5 stars Slick, sturdy, and functional as a commuter. (Handlebars and waterproofing should've been better designed), March 30, 2012
(You can get this bike online for about $1,000.)

*** WARNING. If you get this bike, don't use the throttle and pedal assist at the same time! You will probably burn out the controller, like I did once. And keep in mind that the pedal assist is almost always on, unless you turn it off with the key.

I've owned this bike for a little over a year now. I am quite happy with it. For the most part, it's got quality components where it really counts (breaks, gear shift, motor, etc). The speed and range are both quite suitable, especially given that the battery recharges in about 3 hours or so (6 if you deplete it fully, which isn't recommended by the manufacturer). I have no problem riding it in either pedal assist or throttle mode to work or to a friends house, recharging it there, and riding home. If I forget the charger or something, it will get me there and back without a problem. (Max range is probably about 20 miles, maybe even a bit less if you use the throttle... Read more

1.0 out of 5 stars very poor product, March 4, 2012
I bought this bike except not the folding version. It was very poorly built. The tires went flat less than a week, the paint looked like someone spray painted it out of a can. had no horn. the headlight looks like a $5 peice of junk. one of the worst decisions ever made. buy it if you want to regret it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bike Size NOT good for everyone!, March 21, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
We filed an A-Z Claim through Amazon Chat three times and no response. So now it is March 20, 2012 and for the fourth time we have contacted Amazon, this time by phone and we were told they would file for us again but probably nothing would be done about getting any money back. So don't feel comfortable ordering a large ticket item through Amazon because you think you're protected by their A-Z Policy. It was the first time we tried to use it and we were treated like we didn't exist. Update: Within an hour of the phone conversation with Amazon we received an email from them that basically said No. So I guess if you want Amazon to respond to you, call them.

I got this bike for Christmas 2011. My old bike has 26" wheels and fits me fine. This bike has 26" wheels. This bike's ad claimed it was good for anyone, which suggests a good degree of adjustability. The bike came mostly assembled. I am 5'5" and the tips of my toes would not touch the carpet with the seat at its... Read more
